MTN mPulse spelling bee competition
8 million naira cash prizes with a lot of mouthwatering presents such as laptops, smartphones are to be won in the MTN mPulse spelling bee competition this year. The competition is open for primary and secondary school students under the age of 8-15. The spelling competition aims at honing the spelling skills of the students, make them have English proficiency and enable them to win monetary prizes.
The Three Stages Of The Competition
- The practice Stage
It is a stage that allows students to practise three sample spelling questions. The days for the stage is August 8 – August 21, 2022.
- First Round
The first round will be held on mPulse website: https://mpulse.mtn.ng/. Each student will answer ten spelling questions. The top 1000 students will be shortlisted for the 2nd round. It starts from August 22 – October 9.
- Second Round
It will start from October 17 and end on October 24. The shortlisted students will answer 20 spelling questions each.
- The Top 20 Students
20 students who perform excellently well will be selected in this stage. They will all advance to the grand finale.
- Grand Finale
Grand finale will be held in Lagos on November 19, 2022.
Rules of The Contest
- Spelling Bee portal opens for Practice test at 9 am on 8th August 2022 to 11;59pm on 21st August 2022.
- Round 1 Competition runs from 12noon on 22nd August 2022 to 11:59 pm on 9th October 2022
- The Competition is open to only boys and girls in Primary and Secondary schools in Nigeria who are between 9 and 15 years old as of 22nd August 2022.
- Participants must be residents of Nigeria
- Participants’ phone numbers for the registration must be on the mPulse tariff plan. Dial *344# to migrate your line to the mPulse tariff plan.
- Participants must have successfully updated their profile on the mPulse website.
- Participants must have successfully linked with their parents on the mPulse website.
- Practice tests can be done multiple times, but each Quiz round can be taken ONLY ONCE.
