Terminal Configuration
The AZ983 series uses a "Mini-ISO" footprint but with upgraded terminal sizes to handle the 80A load.
Terminals 85 & 86: Small blades for the 12V DC Coil.
Terminals 30 & 87: Extra-wide (typically 9.5mm) high-current blades.
30: Battery/Power Input.

Main Power Isolation: At 24V, this relay can safely handle the current for a 1,500W–1,800W load. If you are using a 12V system, it is perfectly rated for up to 1,000W continuous.
Pre-Charge Bypass: In a 2kW system, connecting the battery directly causes a massive spark (inrush current) that damages the capacitors and connectors. This relay can be timed to "click in" after a resistor has safely pre-charged the DC bus.

Critical Installation Checklist
Heat Dissipation: Even though it is rated for 80A, the terminals can get extremely hot. Use heavy-gauge copper lugs or $9.5\text{mm}$ high-temp female receptacles.
Snubber Diode: Like all inductive coils, you must place a diode (e.g., 1N4007) across terminals 85 and 86 to prevent the voltage spike from damaging your control circuit (especially if using an EGS002 or Arduino).
Mounting: This relay is often available with a metal or plastic mounting bracket. Secure it firmly to a chassis; at 80A, loose wires can vibrate and cause arcing.
