The management of Federal University of Lafia, Nasarawa State, has reacted to the viral report that a Computer Science student of the school impregnated his female lecturer.
Recall that a news story went everywhere on the internet yesterday of a Computer Science student known as Kelvin who claimed that he had slept with his female lecturer many times.
According to the report, the student said that the relationship between the lecturer and him was mutual. He stated that they often had sex in her office for countless times. He added that the female lecturer initiated the relationship and she threatened him a lot before he gave in to her lustful demand.
However, the management had debunked the report, saying that it was false.
The Information and Public Relation head of the institution, Abubakar Ibrahim, opined that the report was fake.
He said, “The attention of the Management of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has been drawn to a story which has gone viral on the social media to the effect that one “Kelvin,” said to be a student of Computer Science Department of FULafia, has impregnated a lecturer of the department.
“This story cannot be further away from falsehood. Therefore, the management wishes to state categorically that the story is nothing but a fabrication by the writer.”
He said the report is mischievous and aimed at “destroying the good image and reputation of Federal University of Lafia because no such incident has happened in the university.”
He later implored the general public to take the report with a pinch of salt, “The Management of the Federal University of Lafia will continue to maintain a high moral standard in the university,” he said.
